Dill Harris Character Change
Dill had always been curious about the Radley House, but had never had the courage to alone up to the house. Dill had dared Jem to go up and touch the house, but he had stayed at a safe distance away. When Dill, Jem, and Scout had planed to peek into the window of the Radley House, they encountered a fright of being chased off of the property by a man with a gun. Even though Dill had been scared, he became more courageous after that. Later on in the book, Dill runs away from his father when he felt that they ignored him, because he felt that he had the courage to do so.The theme that relates to this event is moral courage because Dill would not have run away before the Radley House event because he did not have the courage to even go up to the house alone.
